#Vmware vcenter converter standalone permission to perform this operation was denied windows 7#
I am running vCenter from a windows 7 computer which is part of the domain and the account is part of the local administrators group. I have verified the user I am attempting to run converter as is a member of local admins on the server performing the conversion, and the server being converted. Trying to figure out what rights I need to grant to guest to p2v to certain folder in VCenter. Go to: Local Policies > Security Options. I can confirm that the credentials are perfect since this is an AD user and with same credentials i am able to query Vcenter and user is imported globally. This time, I find the appropriate log within three layers of nested ZIP files. Change “ User Access Control: Run all Administrators in Admin Approval Mode ” from Enabled to Disabled.
